Rolling
Every 90 days, 15,000 miles or 25 run hours after you last did it. Change the filter a fortnight late and the next one is a fortnight later too.
every 90 days · last done 12 JunHouse · Cars · Yard · Paperwork
Air filters, smoke alarm batteries, oil changes, insurance renewals — every property you look after, with the size or the part number you need at the shop. So the small job gets done before it turns into the big one.
Start your listThe part that matters
Most reminder apps tell you it is time and leave you guessing in the aisle. Every reminder here carries its spec, and those roll up into one shopping list grouped by where you buy them.
The spec is a column, not a line in the notes.

More than one place, more than one person
Add a second property and you own it. The board reads from all of them at once, or one at a time — and somebody with a single house never sees the switch at all.
Invite the household and everyone gets their own way in. Logging work and the shopping list are theirs from the start; schedules, things and cards stay with whoever runs the place.
Per person, not per role
Households are not shaped alike. In one, the teenager logs every job and never touches a schedule; in another they set all of them up.
Three ways a job can be scheduled
An interval, a calendar date and a one-off are three different promises. Most apps offer one and leave you faking the other two.

every 90 days · last done 12 JunThe same calendar dates every year, whatever you do. Quarterly tax dates are not evenly spaced, so no interval can express them. Paying late does not move next year's bill.
15 Apr · 15 Jun · 15 Sep · 15 JanA single deadline, and then the task retires itself. Right for “cancel the trial before it bills on the 14th”. Undo brings it back.
once · 14 Sep · then goneAnd meters
Mileage and hours read the meter on the thing itself, so every job on one truck shares one odometer reading — and the app says2,400 miles to go rather than inventing a date nothing can support.
The failure nobody has a system for
Over the following month everything billed to it fails quietly, usually the subscriptions you had forgotten about. So a card knows when it was last replaced, and a payment knows when its details were last updated. Replace the card and the whole list turns back to needs doing on its own.
What is stored
A nickname, and the last four digits if you want them. The card number is never stored — there is no column it could go in.
Add it, say how often, and put the size in while you are there. The rest of the list builds itself from whatever you look after next.
